Searching for performers for an outdoor mesmerizing children’s LARP (live-action role playing) adventure for summer camp program, which is Camp Half-Blood.
Actors play more life tradition characters set in the modern-day, not far from the Percy Jackson universe (think Hermes in running shorts instead of a toga). Every week you can be a God, a Hero, a Villain, a Monster, a Nymph, an Oracle, or a combination of these all. Everyone must feel comfortable including groups of kids, their ages 6-12, in make up in their characteriesed dialogue and LARP, or boffer-style, combat (with safe foam weapons) in an outdoor environment on Quest Day, once a week you’ll get full-day adventure. The group will consist of a team of actors who will collaborate with a Quest Director to bring each storyline to life for their specific camp location.

Stimulate by the world of Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and The Olympians novels, Camp Half-Blood is in the heart of Plato Learning’s mission and ‘Adventure Powered by Story.’ We bring tales from tradition, history, and fiction to life, we drop our campers into the center of the action. They move to another world to given their chance to prove themselves as Legendary Heroes.
We re-stage , We re-frame and re-purpose these age-old tales into something new that our campers can experience for the first time. There are some (foam) sword-fights, puzzles, negotiations, and performance challenges as they want to complete their journey of heroic Quest.
Camp Half Blood Outdoor Immersive Children’s Theatre Pay Details
$16/hour
Minimum time for completing their task is 10 hours/week for the summer camp season. Pre-season training and rehearsal time will be compensated from the orignal. Camp season length is dependent on location.
